Thoughts on Kermit Gosnell case

Last Tuesday’s headline regarding the so-called doctor in Philadelphia who regularly murdered innocent babies read “Both sides condemn convicted abortion doctor.” Yet there was not one word about what either side of the abortion issue said. Despite this journalistic dissonance there was a prophetic statement in the article. It is in the first sentence: Kermit Gosnell considered himself a pioneering doctor who helped women. Indeed, as nauseating as this may sound to those opposed to abortion he probably was right on this issue. When the liberal news networks finally had to acknowledge the absolutely heinous nature of this heartless serial murdering butcher the liberal blogs frantically tried damage control by attempting to spin what happened at this “House of Horrors” as what happens if abortions were to become illegal again …Abortions have been legal since 1973. This is what happens when abortions are legal!
I think Gosnell should fire his attorney and sue him for malpractice. He neglected to put forth the most solid argument for his client’s defense: A child is only a human being if its mother wants it. There is now no question, whatsoever, that a child in the womb is a distinct, separate person. Medical science accepts this as a given truth and thoughtful, intellectually honest pro-aborts agree. Kermit Gosnell, President Obama and  other abortionists have rightly observed there is nothing about a trip through a woman’s pelvis that confers humanity on a “blob of fetal tissue.’ If they are human when they clear the vaginal canal they are human when they are ¾ that way, ½ the way out or all the way in. The start truth of our laws is that they allow us to kill innocent human beings if they are not wanted by their mothers but they will try you for murder if they are wanted. This is the defense  Gosnell’s lawyer should have come up with:
“Ladies and gentlemen of the jury — all of our laws regarding abortion are congruent if we understand that the underlying principal is whether or not the female parent wants the child. The children that the good Doctor Gosnell snipped the spines on were unwanted, therefore not human, and hence not murdered. The defense rests its case.”
Kermit Gosnell just happens to be on the ‘cutting edge’ of abortion. Why subject these poor women to awkward instrumentation by cutting up the child’s brains while its head is still in the vagina. This is technically difficult and the woman could be harmed. Spine snipping is the future of abortion and is practiced secretly in many if not all abortion clinics. When personhood is just a matter of opinion Gosnell is the result.

Your article is a good one, well written and timely.
I have been around for awhile and remember sights of young girls lying in a pool of their own blood. Victims of a botched abortion. Dead or soon to be that way. Alone, scared, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
Used by those out for a good time. Many who were unwilling partners. Not all, but most. forced, gotten drunk or drugs used on them and all used by pleasure seeking men.
The same ones who would later judge them.
Now, abortion is wrong Just flat wrong. This doctor, however, is not the first.
He is not the only one and did not act alone.
In the years he ran a clinic many people worked for him, helped him, set up times and dates, These people knew what was going on and did nothing to stop the practice. Guilty of the same acts as that doctor.
In the end however they are not as guilty as a society that turns its back on helpless trusting, young girls.
That doctor is guilty as sin but not nearly as guilty as the men who are using and abusing these women.
Stop with, a man is a man and needs to be a man its the girls fault.
