Wenona to stock catfish, protect bass in city pond
More controls were recommended to the Wenona City Council this week for a pond owned by the city. Wenona’s Daryl Wragge has been working closely with the parks and recreation committee to improve fishing and other aspects of the pond’s use. He has been working with a representative of Illinois Department of Natural Resources in surveying the fish population in the pond.
