Bowfishing has been growing in popularity, and 45 boats full of archers shot and caught thousands of pounds of rough fish and invasive species over the weekend in a competition.

The June 30 storm left many downed limbs and trees in Starved Rock State Park. On Wednesday 240 employees from ADM (Archers Daniels Midland) and 10 from Living Lands and Waters cleaned up a good deal of it.
