Mary Pec



Mary Kay (Frank) Pec, 61, of Putnam, died Aug. 23, 2014, in Richard L. Owens Hospice, Peoria.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Alphonsus Church, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Tuesday in Cooney Funeral Home, Chicago.
Mary served as an officer in the 94th infantry division, World War II Historical Society in honor of her father’s military service. She was a graduate of The Immaculata High School, Class of 1970, in Chicago.
Survivors are her husband, retired Commander Joseph Pec of the Willowbrook police Department; three children, Lance Aarstad Jr., Timothy Pec and Jori Antosh; three grandchildren, D.J. Antosh, Cassidy Antosh and Savannah Pec; dear sister of Nancy (John) Schmidt and Paul (the late Deborah) Frank; fond aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph A. Pec Jr.
