Robert John "Stoney" Paprocki
Robert John “Stoney” Paprocki, 61, of Oglesby passed away June 2, 2014, in his home after having been surrounded by his family and friends.
A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. Friday in Holy Family Church, Oglesby, with the Rev. Gary Blake, pastor celebrating. Burial will be private at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, La Salle. Arrangements are by Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby.
Mr. Paprocki was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Oglesby to John and Josephine (Gorski) Paprocki.
He was a truck driver for Boehm Bros. until his retirement in June of 2013. He was a member of the Teamsters and the National Rifle Association.
Stoney enjoyed target and trap shooting, as well as fishing trips to Missouri with his best friends.
He is survived by his sister, Gerry (Butch) Torri of DePue; his niece, Trisha (Derek) Nelson of Champaign; and his great-nephew, Blaize Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
