Theresa Sienkiewicz, 92, of La Salle passed away at 12:09 p.m. May 11, 2014, in Heritage Health, Minonk.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Hyacinth Church, La Salle, with the Rev. Antonio Dittmer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, La Salle.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday in the church. Burgess Funeral Home, La Salle, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Peru to Ignatz and Zosia (Ryba) Turczyn. She married Raymond Sienkiewicz on Oct. 2, 1940, in St. Hyacinth Church.
Mrs. Sienkiewicz was a member of St. Hyacinth Church and the Altar & Rosary Society.
She worked for Electric Utilities Co. and Westclox for many years.
Survivors are one daughter, Beverly (John) Pilarek of La Salle; five grandchildren, Kim (Randy) Hanck, Pamela (Chris) Paden, Carrie (Mike) Sabatini, Chris (Holly) Pilarek and William (Kim) Sienkiewicz; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sister M. Clarine, C.S.S.F. of Chicago and Clara Wachowiak of Peru.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; one son, David, in 2004; four brothers and five sisters.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hanck, Chris Paden, Chris Pilarek, Adam Paden, Andrew Paden, Kyle Hanck, John Sienkiewicz, Mike Sabatini, Emily Hanck, Olivia Paden, Jack Sabatini and Gavin Sienkiewicz.
