David Lee Herbolsheimer, 64, of Princeton passed away April 29, 2014, in Montello, Wis.
A memorial service was at 11 a.m. today in Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with pastor Wayne Derber officiating.
Mr. Herbolsheimer was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Princeton to Melvin and Susan (Moore) Herbolsheimer. He married Patricia Lam-pley on Oct. 16, 1999, at Church on the Hill, rural Princeton.
He graduated from Princeton High School in 1967 and attended one year of college. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation for 29 years.
He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Princeton, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Katy (Andy) Linberg of Hastings, Minn.; one son, Eric Herbolsheimer of Springfield; two stepsons, Kenny (Misty) Lampley of Princeton and Travis McInnes of East Moline; two stepdaughters, Angel (Doug) Schlenz of Spring Valley and Jessica McInnes of Princeton; granddaughter Sabrina Englebrecht who resided in their home, and 13 grandchildren.
