William "Murph" McNally

William McNally, 77, of Triumph died April 22, 2014, in his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Chaplain Terry Ann Dumyahn officiating. Burial will be at Troy Grove Cemetery with military honors by Mendota VFW Post 4079.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born Jan. 30, 1937, in Troy Grove to Joseph and Marion (Becker) McNally. He married Sandra Hessenberger on May 7, 1960.

He was a graduate of Mendota High School and served in the U.S. Army 1960-62. He was employed by Silica Sand for 33 years as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Wanda McNally of Cherry and Lisa (Ron) Inman of Mendota; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Mary Lou) McNally of Peru; two sisters, Mary Dankenbring of Triumph and Doris Dissinger of Granville; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Robert.
Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
