Robert Liss

Robert J. Liss, 89, died March 4, 2014, in Pasadena, Calif., with the love of his life, Fay Breslow and family by his side.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, La Salle with the Rev. Duane Leclercq officiating.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday in Hurst Funeral Home, La Salle.
Mr. Liss. was born and raised in La Salle to John I. and Anna Liss. He was the brother of the late Edward Liss, Claire Granger, Mary Liss and Raymond Liss. He was a longtime resident of Burbank and La Crescenta, Calif., where he worked as a precision machinist in the aerospace industry for more than 30 years.  Robert was a kind neighbor and friend, avid travler, gifted mechanic, auto and aerospace enthusiast and amateur photographer.
His mechanical skills were a source of great pride and he was often called upon as the “handiest guy” to have around.
He will be dearly missed by his five nieces and nephews, his great-nieces and great-nephews and the Breslow family.
Online condolences may be shared at www.hurstfuneralhomes.com.
