May Rose Morris, 86, of Spring Valley died March 31, 2014, in Heartland Health Care Center, Henry.
Family funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Spring Valley United Church of Christ with the Rev. Chuck Maney officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park. Family visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the church. Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is in charge of arrangements.
May was born on May 1, 1927, in La Salle to Stephen and Harriet (Shiejak) Gianoulakis. She married Joseph R. Morris on March 13, 1948, in Spring Valley United Church of Christ. She was a member of Spring Valley United Church of Christ.
Survivors are three daughters, Cynthia (Arthur) Hungerford of Spring Valley, Karen (Edward) Grubar of Tonica and Maureen (Mark) Morris of Wyanet; one son, Stephen (Sandra) Morris of Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 3, 2011; one daughter, Wendie Tobiasz; two brothers and two sisters.
