His life’s passion was helping people. In 1975 he founded RSR & Co. (R for Robert, S for Susanne, R for Renee & Co for his grandchildren). He knew how fortunate he was to be born to Christian parents and to live in the United States of America. He was very proud of his surname.
He was a member of the Elks since 1974.
He is survived by his two daughters, Susanne M. (Dave) Reitsma and Renee L. (Jerry) Moritz; five grandchildren, Tyler Du Fau Bottomley, Dawson James Du Fau Hurr, Shea Lee, Zachary Levi and Jaelyn Mae Moritz; one brother, Richard Earl Du Fau of Aurora; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Ohio and Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Edward in 2009 and John (Haniel) in 2013; and a dear friend Janice Rae (Fitzgerald) Coffman.
He completed his gift of life on earth, born to eternal life: he passed from time to eternity.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Richard Earl Du Fau, Tyler Du Fau Bottomley, Jerry Moritz, Dawson James Du Fau Hurr, Zachary Levi Moritz and John Mobley.
