Larry Brown

Larry E. Brown, 66, of Triumph, formerly of Rollo, died Dec. 6, 2013, in St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Jacobson Funeral Home, Shabbona. Pastor Sandy Smith of Triumph Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Shabbona.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
He was born May 11, 1947, in Mendota to William and Mary Lou (Gibson) Brown. Larry married Connie Miller on April 23, 1967, in Earlville Methodist Church.
Larry lived in the Rollo area until 1986. He and his family moved to Kentucky and later to Montana, returning to Illinois in 1996. He had been employed as a truck driver by Double D Express in Peru for 17 years. Larry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Jeana of Spring Valley; one son, James of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Edwin Ray Brown of Triumph; and one sister, Linda Long of Plano.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara.
A memorial is being established.
