Clyde “Ward” Kitterman, 71, of Kewanee passed away Nov. 28, 2013, in Kewanee Care. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton. The Rev. Jon Olinger will officiate. Burial will follow at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. There will be no visitation. Mr. Kitterman was born July 14, 1942, in Princeton to Clyde Irving and Mabel (Trimmer) Kitterman. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1960. He also graduated from Black Hawk College. He worked for John Deere, Kay Furniture and the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was an antique dealer for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Princeton High School sports, going to auctions and acquiring antiques. He was a member of the Bureau County Genealogical Society. Survivors are three sisters, Norma (the late Forrest) Derose of Princeton, Helen (the late Gale) Thomas of Wyanet and Joann (Hilding) Allen of Princeton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Irma (George) Bruce Jr., Nina (Ray) Norine and Vera (Charles) Miller; and two brothers, Irving (Ileta) Kitterman and Don (Norma) Kitterman. Memorials may be directed to Princeton High School Foundation or Bureau County historical or genealogical societies.
