E. Joyce Rowe, 97, of Princeton died at 1:36 p.m. Nov. 22, 2013, in her home in rural Princeton.
Private family services were at 11 a.m. Tue-sday in Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with pastor Todd Krost officiating. Burial will be at Henry Cemetery.
No visitation is scheduled. Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton is assisting the family.
She was born Oct. 29, 1916, in Wheatland Township, Bureau County to Clarence and Icle (Hock) Anderson. She married Lloyd H. Rowe on March 30, 1935, in Peoria.
She graduated from Tiskilwa High School in 1934. She was a homemaker and farmer’s wife.     
She is survived by two sons, Roger (Norma) Rowe of Lima, Peru and Dean (Carol) Rowe of Princeton; two daughters, Kay (Larry) Johnson of Tiskilwa and Donna (Allen) Perry of Tiskilwa; 11 grandchildren, Kevin (April) Rowe of Honolulu, Hawaii; Tim (Monica) Rowe of Barrow, Alaska, Sara (Dale) Erickson of Henry, Barb (Gary) Wright of Princeton, Jeff (Amy) Rowe of Lugano, Switzerland, Mary Rowe of Lugano, Jeanette (Steve) Scott of Bradford, Rodney (Susan) Johnson of Oswego, Douglas Johnson of Tiskilwa, Amy Perry of Tiskilwa and Adam (Tara) Perry of Tiskilwa; and 18 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 4, 1998; two grandsons, Tom Rowe and Lance Johnson; two brothers, Richard and Francis Anderson; and one sister, Dorothy Schneid.
