Margaret "Marge" Bibula Nosalik

Margaret “Marge” Bibula Nosalik, 88, of La Salle passed away at 5:08 a.m. Nov. 20, 2013, in Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Hyacinth Church, La Salle, with the Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will be at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, La Salle.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today in Burgess Funeral Home, La Salle, and 9-10 a.m. Friday in the church. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
She was born Jan. 2, 1925, in La Salle to Vincent and Augusta (Joop) Fitzgerald.
On Oct. 7, 1943, in capping ceremonies at St. Mary’s Hospital she was awarded scholastic honors and her name placed on the honor roll. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in June 1946.
She worked briefly at St. Margaret’s Hospital in the emergency room and then worked 25 years as a home health nurse for the Hygienic Institute.
She married John “Jack” Nosalik on July 12, 1974.
She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. She was an active volunteer for St. Hyacinth School, former member of the Altar and Rosary Society and St. Bede Mothers Club.
She enjoyed playing euchre and was a Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.
She is survived by one daughter, Jacquelyn “Jackie” (Edward) Bruski of La Salle; two sons, Richard (Billie Jean) Bibula of La Salle and L. Michael (Michelle) Bibula of La Salle; three grandsons, Ryan (Debbie) Bibula, Jack and Eric Bibula; three stepgrandchildren, Aleigh, Ryan and Samantha Day; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rian Bibula; one sister, Marie Eddy of Oglesby; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 11, 2013; one daughter, Mary, in infancy; two brothers, Edward (Jean) and William Fitzgerald; her first husband, Leonard “Bootie” Bibula; and her beloved dog “Tinker”.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ryan, Jack, and Eric Bibula and Ryan Day, Everett “Buck” Engelhaupt and Dr. Thomas Curry.
