Mrs. Weber

Lillian Corinne Weber, 93, of Sarasota, Fla., died Oct. 16, 2013, in her home.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Earlville, with the Rev. Fredi Gomez-Torres officiating. Burial will follow at St. Theresa Cemetery, Earlville.
Arrangements were by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Corinne was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Earlville to Wade and Daisy (Baird) Holliday. She married Clement “Clem” Weber on April 27, 1943.
She lived a full life as a wife and mother in the rural Triumph and Earlville area until moving to Florida in 1984.
Throughout her life she was an active member in St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she participated in the Altar and Rosary Society, and in Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota, Fla. She also enjoyed a monthly card club with close friends for more than 40 years while in Earlville.
She loved cooking, sewing, embroidery projects and numerous other crafts as well as her daily crossword puzzle. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, but of all the things she loved the most, her children and grandchildren were always the pride and joy of her life. She was a proud face in the crowd at every school event and the graduation of every grandchild. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She leaves behind three daughters, Lisa Weber and Colleen Pearce, both of Sarasota, and Diana (Gary) Buckley of Cedar Point; one son, David (Jacque) Weber of Southlake, Texas; six grandchildren, Chris (Tricia) Weber, Doug (Deana) Weber, Jill Weber, Jennifer (Walter) Searcey, Gina (George) Welsh and Krista (Billy) McGann; six great-grandchildren, Carissa Weber, Cole Roberts, Lane and Landon Welsh and Lucas and Lauren Searcey; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Boltz of Beloit, Wis., and Eloise Tarr of Paw Paw; one brother, Bill (Betty) Holliday of West Plains, Mo.; and two “grand-dogs,” Callie and Carly.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998; one daughter, Barbara Hargesheimer in 1997; one son, Craig Weber in 1958; a son-in-law, David Pearce in 1999; and four brothers, Don, Jim, Bob and Sonny Holliday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
