James W. Schrader, 62, of Peru, formerly of Utica, passed away unexpectedly at 10:18 p.m. June 29, 2013, in Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Burgess Funeral Home, Utica. Burial will be at Peru City Cemetery.

Visitat-ion is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Wednes-day in the funeral home.

Mr. Schrader was born May 31, 1951, in Peru to Otis “Bud” and Betty (Glupczynski) Schrader. He married Lynn Sigmund-Willoughby on Nov. 16, 2009, in Key West, Fla.
He owned and operated Jim’s Repair in Utica for many years.

Survivors are his wife, Lynn of Peru; three sons, James J. (Amie) Schrader of Utica, Robert H. Schrader of Peru and William C. (Jennifer) Schrader of Seatonville; five stepsons, Nick (Krystal) Pelka of Oglesby, Jason Pelka of Spring Valley, Jeff (Jamie) Strauch of La Salle, Chuck (Linda) Willoughby Jr. of Hawaii and Scott (Heather) Willoughby of Spring Valley; two stepdaughters, Ashley Willoughby of Normal and Cheryl (Jim) Detmers of Ladd; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Schrader of Iowa City, Iowa and Roger (Fran) Schrader of Spring Valley; and two sisters, Lisa Schrader of Oglesby and Susan (Rich) Snell of Oglesby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
