Brett M. Sandberg, 34, of Princeton died at 10:18 p.m. June 25, 2013, in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton with pastor Laura Tanner officiating. Burial will be at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
He was born March 6, 1979, in Princeton to Carl & Sharon (Norlin) Sandberg.
He was a 1997 graduate of Princeton High School. He worked at Advanced Door Control Solutions in Princeton.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon (Kevin) Knudsen of Princeton; two sisters, Jodi Westerhold of Princeton and Abby Sandberg of Princeton; stepbrother, Adam Knudsen of Princeton; stepsister, Angela Smith of Crystal Lake; niece, Savannah Westerhold of Princeton; and special friend, Lisa Hebb of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Marion (Freida) Sandberg; maternal grandparents, Marion (LaVerne) Norlin; his father, Carl Sandberg in July 22, 2001; and three aunts.
A memorial fund is being established in his name or memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
Pallbearers will be Anthony and Dominic Bonucci, Sean and Shane Smith, Chris Fedash, Caleb Schrimsher and Jodi Westerhold. Honorary pallbearers will be Abby Sandberg and Adam Knudsen.
