Lois (Gandolfi) Liss, 89, of Oglesby died March 27, 2013, in Manor Court, Peru.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby, with Monsignor James Swaner, pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Utica, officiating.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Lois was born July 8, 1923, in Toluca to Herman and Carmel (Marchesi) Gandolfi. She married Florian Liss in 1943. 

She was employed at Electrical Utilities Co. in La Salle and Illinois Bell, and she worked with her husband at the Dairy Kup in Oglesby. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Oglesby and AARP.

Survivors are two sons, Larry (JoAnn) Liss of Sheridan and Karl F. (Susan Radcliffe) Liss of Saugatuck, Mich.; two grandchildren, Lisa (Eric) Moss and Michael (Jennifer) Liss; two great-grandchildren, Felix and Nigel Moss; and two brothers, Herman (Arlene) Gandolfi of Peru and Rudy (Peach) Gandolfi of Oglesby.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and one sister, Gloria.
Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
