Anna Marie Durdan, 59, of Streator passed away March 17, 2013, in her home.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday in Grand Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand Rapids Cemetery, Grand Ridge.

Marie was born Jan. 19, 1954, in Streator to Glenn and Martha (Schmitz) Schiffbauer. She married John Durdan on Sept. 13, 1992.

She attended Deer Park Grade School and Streator High School, was a member of Washee Riders Club and retired from the Ottawa Wal-Mart as deli supervisor.

Marie enjoyed her family and animals.

Survivors are her husband; children, Tommy (Tricia) Haynes of Tonica, Tammie Biskie of Leonore and Lindsey (Jake) Handzus of Streator; nine grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Schiffbauer of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Judy (LeRoy) Buckley of Oglesby and Jenny (Bill) Rodrick of Tonica; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; sister, Juanita Thompson; niece, Valerie Buckley; and nephew, Dickie Finney.

Memorials for Marie Durdan may be directed to the family for various cancer associations.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Rodrick, Richard, Justin and Michael Schiffbauer, LeRoy Buckley, Phillip, Matthew Durdan and Michael Keenan.
