Minnie Mae Shipp
Minnie Mae Shipp, 83, of Wyanet died at 9:56 p.m. March 15, 2013, in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Pastor Aaron Jackson will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
She was born April 8, 1929, in Ohio, Ill., to John Carl and Matilda (Miller) Erickson. She married Gordon Wesley Shipp on June 29, 1957, in First Baptist Church of Manlius.
She graduated from Bureau Township High School in 1947. She was a homemaker and had worked at Westclox and Harper-Wyman in Princeton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are three sons, Wesley (Sandy) Shipp of Wyanet, Jeff (Ann) Shipp of Princeton and Randy (Kim) Shipp of Wyanet; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Erickson of Princeton and Jack Erickson of Princeton; three sisters, Alice Morris of Princeton, Helen (Gary) Vaughn of Princeton and Elsie Jackson of Dover.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 17, 2010; two brothers, Russell and Arthur Erickson; and two sisters, Margaret Schaill and Martha Hoffman.
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church of Manlius.
