Eileen F. Mosbach, 82, of Washington, formerly of Oglesby, died unexpectedly on Thursday evening, March 14, 2013, in the emergency room of Proctor Hospital, Peoria. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Tom Goodell officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday. She was born Aug. 28, 1930, in Ottawa to Harris and Agnes (Gjerde) Nelson. She married Robert “Bob” Mosbach on March 15, 1952, in La Salle. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for more than 40 years in Oglesby. She relocated to Washington in 2005 to be closer to their grandchildren. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. She is survived by her husband; three children, Carleen Mosbach of Chicago, Roberta Mosbach of Bloomington and Jim (Michelle) Mosbach of Washington; and two grandchildren, JT and Tyler Mosbach of Washington. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Nelson. Memorials may be directed to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
