Minnie M. Martin, 89, of California, formerly of Streator, passed away Feb. 25, 2013, in Mountain View Convalescent Home, Sylmar, Calif.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
A visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tues-day in the funeral home.
Minnie was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Oglesby to Frank and Christine “Tina” (Morton) Gaull.
She married William W. Martin on Jan. 15, 1946. He passed away June 7, 2000.
Minnie retired from Thatcher Glass. She was a former P.N.A. member.
Minnie loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and embroidering.
Surviving are children, Donald (Beverly) Martin of Streator, Karen Bentz of Claremore, Okla., Christine (Antonio) Olea of Newhall, Calif., and William (Tonya) Martin of Belton, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Othmar Salz; three sisters-in-law, Helen Salz, Artell Kobusch and Patricia and Betty Gaull.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert in infancy, Frank and Charles Gaull; and five sisters, Esther, Annie, and Margaret Gaull in infancy, and Christine Sampo and Evelyn Gerace; and a son-in-law, Harry Bentz.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Minnie Martin.
Pallbearers will be family members.
