Beverly A Schmotzer, 67, of La Salle died unexpectedly at 12:03 p.m. Feb. 24, 2013, in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Burgess Funeral Home, La Salle. Burial will be at St. Vincent Cemetery, La Salle.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 1, 1945, in Rhinelander, Wis., to Carlyle and Stella (Wolf) Albrant. She later was raised by her stepfather. Earl Jenkins. She married Michael Schmotzer on Nov. 23, 1968, in Aurora.

She worked at Hobbs in Spring Valley as a supervisor, Pine Cone and Broadway restaurants, BRK Electronics in Aurora and Western Electric in Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband, Michael of La Salle; one daughter, Paula (Kevin) Williams of Allentown, Pa.; one son, Michael (Delores) R Schmotzer of La Salle; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara (Greg) Stanford of Wisconsin; one brother, Roger (Babs) Albrant of Wisconsin; two stepsisters, Violet Bisquette of Wisconsin and Betty Hoes of Wisconsin; one stepbrother, Ivan (Dolly) Jenkins of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one stepbrother.
