Russell A. Densmore, 64, of Compton died Feb. 11, 2013, in Mendota Community Hospital.
A celebration of life will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the South Minister Presbyterian Church, Arlington Heights, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Pierce officiating.
Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Densmore was born Dec. 14, 1948, in East Liverpool, Ohio to Jesse and Helen (Lafferre) Densmore. He married Wanda Yeager on July 8, 1967, in East Liverpool. He was a central office technician for AT&T and was a member and past state director of American Gold Wing Association.
Survivors are his wife, Wanda of Compton; one son, David (Marianne) Densmore of Amboy; one daughter, Kim (Corey) Adams of Des Plaines; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
