Rose (Claudnic) Bruch, 99, formerly of Granville, died Jan. 24, 2013, in Spring Valley Nursing Center.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Grace United Methodist Church in La Salle with the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Wilson, pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Sunday in the church. Arrangements are through Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby.
Mrs. Bruch was born on Aug. 5, 1913, in Oglesby to Frank and Anna (Muhich) Claudnic. She married Harold Bruch, on Oct. 15, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa.
She was employed as a cook at St. Margaret Hospital, Spring Valley.
She was active in her church for many years, including serving as a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of Granville Birthday Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Margie Braun of Roselle; two sons, William (Diane) Bruch of Stillman Valley and Thomas (Nancy) Bruch of Oglesby; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Putnam County Food Pantry or Putnam County Ambulance Service.
