Janice Anne Baldwin, 83, of Henry died at 7:05 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Maple Lawn Health Care Center, Eureka.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church, Henry. The Rev. Tom Mizeur will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Henry.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Downtown Chapel, 416 Edward St., Henry.
Janice was born Feb. 24, 1929, at the Henry Hospital, Henry to George and May Ella (Wigand) Bickerman. She married Keith Jackson Baldwin on Feb. 14, 1952, in Henry. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2012.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Henry. She attended Illinois State University, Normal. She worked at The Creamery and The A&W Root Beer Stand in Henry and for many years was the head cook at King’s House Retreat Center, Henry.
Survivors are two daughters, Cheryl Lynn (Dean Johnson) Baldwin of Englewood, Colo., and Julie Ann (Harry) Harmon-Curley of Eureka; three grandchildren, Christopher Harmon, Crue Harmon, and Kaitlyn Curley; and one great-grandson, Brody Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lawrence, James and Ernest Bickerman; and one sister, Charlotte Brown.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Church or the Arthritis Foundation.
