Jenna Lynn Hassler and Vittorio Angelo Gensini were united in marriage during a ceremony performed at 1 p.m. July 28 in St. Patrick’s Church, Hennepin. The Rev. Patrick Demeulemeester officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James (Laura) Hassler of Ladd and Mr. and Mrs. Gene (Vicki) Gensini of McNabb.
Maid of honor was Maria DeBernardi. Bridesmaids were Beth Paz, Amber Kottwitz, Maria Miller and Danielle Bougher.
Best man was Jordan Lutes. Attendants were Josh Barnwell, Ryan Coomer, Matt Hassler and Paul Goetz.
Ushers were Matt Gensini and Tony Miller.
Flower girl was McKlay Gensini. Ring bearer was Kade Gensini.
The couple was honored at a reception at Mendota Civic Center. Following a 10-day honeymoon to Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Warrenville.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hall Township High School, a 2008 graduate of Illinois Valley Community College and a 2010 graduate of Methodist College of Nursing. She is employed by Edward Hospital, Naperville, as a registered nurse.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Putnam County High School, a 2006 graduate of IVCC, a 2008 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor of science degree and a 2010 graduate of NIU with a master of science degree. He is a doctoral candidate at University of Georgia. He is employed by College of DuPage as an assistant professor of meteorology.
