A tribe swap took place at Redemption Island to even things out after the challenge. Vytas and Katie went over to Galong. Tyson, Aras and Gervase went to Tadhana. Back at the new camps, Tyson started talking like Aras was the leader and did what he wanted. Hayden didn't like that the three new players just made themselves at home and started eating all the food.
At the new Galong, Vytas decided being vulnerable would make the women like him better. I think he read it right.
Immunity challenge included the makings of a picnic. Laura and Tina forgot to get the trap in the swim and had to do it again. But they almost caught up solving the puzzle, but kept making mistakes and Tadhana won.
At tribal council, Kat said Monica is overplaying the game. "If we only get to the merge," Kat said. "We have to stick together."
RI challenge: Laura M. won the balance/puzzle solving challenge. No surprise there. John beat out Brad even though he fell from the beam twice. Laura gave the hidden idol clue to Vytas who quickly threw it in the fire. A new trend set this season.
Who went home: Brad Culpepper, 44, attorney and former NFL player, from Tampa, Fla. Brad lost a puzzle challenge to Laura M. and John, even though John fell off the beam a couple of times. Brad got off to a slow start. We knew Laura would be good at this challenge, She's quick and smart. Brad's wife Monica, the returning player, says she now feels alone.
Who went to Redemption Island: Kat Edorsson, 23, a returning player from Orlando, Fla. After arriving at RI, she told John and Laura that she was worried about her boyfriend Hayden because he might be disappointed in her saying that he would be embarrassed because she didn't even make it to the merge. He must be as shallow as she is. The members of her tribe, who had a women's alliance, felt she couldn't be trusted and opted to keep Vytas instead.
Most annoying player: Tyson. As soon as they mixed the tribes, Tyson was off running his mouth trying to make Aras look like the bad-guy leader to give the impression to Caleb and Ciera that he is a control freak.
Most surprising moment: Galongs ousting of Kat instead of Vytas. She pleaded at tribal council, as did Vytas, but apparently (after one day) he earned some trust when he relayed his experiences as a heroin addict and time in prison.
Just about Jeff Probst: "One thing is clear," Jeff said after tribal council vote. "You don't get trust by asking for it. If you want to win this game and you haven't started earning trust you'd better get to it right now."
Next time: In the tale of two brothers, Vytas is quickly making friends. "I'd be honored if he took an interest in Katie," Tina said. "I'm ready for grandbabies." Tadhana is ready to take out Aras. "They're the most dangerous couple in the game," Tyson said.
