Dawn's breakdown was over her losing her front teeth bridge. Oh, No, she just couldn't go on with two front teeth. Really? She playing for a million dollars. Brenda was the good friend and went into the water to find it for her. After returning from tribal council, Dawn was paranoid about everyone and thought that Andrea might be ready to flip because she was always hanging with the hot guys. Dawn was really irritating her alliance and they seemed to be ready to vote her off. But she said she hadn't been sleeping well. Then after a good night's sleep, she seemed to be better. Malcolm found a new hidden immunity idol while Eddie, Dawn and Andrea watched. They all were looking too.
Reward went to Phillip, Erik, Dawn, Cochran and Reynold to a resort for showers, food and a dip in the pool. All were irritated with Phillip for not showering before dipping in the pool. They were all dirty from the challenge.
Who was sent home? Phillip Sheppard, 54, a favorite from Santa Monica, Calif., who lists his occupation as chief executive officer of Enter Software Sales. Phillip fell victim to a very unique tribal council where the main alliance had decided to split their votes between Malcolm and Eddie and flush out a hidden immunity idol. What they didn't know was that Malcolm had two idols and thus gave one to Eddie after Reynold won immunity at the challenge. Both ended up playing the idols and the alliance flushed them out. But that left Phillip at the mercy of the three men and they had no mercy. But since Phillip had been driving everyone crazy since Day 1 it was no surprise.
Who won immunity: Reynold. The alliance really wanted to get rid of him. Eddie just kind of goofy. Did you see his face when Malcolm gave him one of the hidden immunity idols? Talk about a fifth-grade look.
Who should have gone? They really should have gotten rid of Malcolm last week when they had the chance. Now it's going to be more difficult.
Most valuable player: Malcolm has the brains of the three "out" men. But the glee with which he took out Phillip doesn't sit well with me.
Best quote: "There's this hummingbird flying over the cuckoo nest," Cochran said after watching Dawn's breakdown, "And it's Dawn."
Next time: Reynold, Eddie and Malcolm look to recruit Erik and Sherri, Sherri seems agreeable. And the favorite "Survivor" auction takes place.
Probst observation: "It was a crazy tribal vote. Did they change the game enough to survive another vote."
