Hunter Stiles, Nolan Baumbach and Morgan Lowry each scored a goal in the second half Monday as Earlville-Leland beat Indian Creek 3-0 in a Little Ten Conference game in Leland.
Joel Brunswick and Jesse Saylor each had an assist for E-L (4-4, 2-1 LTC), which won its third consecutive game.
“Another good win for us,” E-L coach Tim Cottingim said. “The kids have really bought into this system defensively, and tonight showed that our stamina is pretty good too. We just patiently and methodically took control of the game in the second half.
East Peoria 2, Princeton 1
Tyler Marvin scored a goal Monday for the Tigers, but an own goal proved to be the difference in the non-conference loss in Tiskilwa.
Princeton had nine shots to East Peoria’s six.
Stillman Valley 3, Mendota 0
The Trojans had 12 shots to the Cardinals’ four but couldn’t get any in the net in a Big Northern Conference West Division loss in Stillman Valley.
