Prep of the Week: Harold Fay

Name: Harold Fay

School: Putnam County

Year: Junior

Sport: Basketball

If you could spent he day with any famous athlete, who would it be and why? I’d say Derrick Rose. He’s a point guard and I’m a point guard. I’d just like to see what he thinks.

What’s your guilty-pleasure TV show? Probably Jersey Shore. I like Pauly D.
Most embarassing song on your Ipod? “Baby” by Justin Bieber.

What superhero would you be? Superman. He does it all. He’s got strength, he can fly and whatever.

Dream car: Dodge Charger.

Last week’s accomplishments: Fay stepped up big in the finals of the Class 1A Henry Regional, scoring a game-high 22 points. The junior guard had 12 of his tallies in the fourth quarter, including six-straight free throws down the stretch to help preserve the win. He also had nine points in PC’s semifinal win over Woodland.

Fay on his performance: We were just trying to win. I was trying to get in there and get to the rack and get to the line. I did and fortunately I made them. I loved it - you want the ball in your hands (with the game on the line), especially at the free throw line.

Coach Josh Nauman says: It was a lot like the Tri-County (Conference Tournament). He struggled in the semifinals a little bit and played great in the championship.
