The Putnam County senior guard knocked down three of his four 3-pointers on the night after suffering a dislocated finger on his shooting hand — which he reset himself in the locker room at halftime according to coach Josh Nauman — and finished with 17 points to help lead Putnam County to a 66-56 win over Tri-County Conference foe Peoria Christian on the road.
The Panthers trailed 36-30 at halftime but outscored the Chargers 36-20 over the final 16 minutes — including holding Christian to only four points in the fourth quarter — to take the league win.
Harold Fay led Putnam County with 20 points, and Sam Garland added 14.
Jamil Stapleton had a game-high 25 points for Christian, including seven 3-pointers.
Woodland 67, Hall 64 (OT)
The Red Devils trailed by two at halftime and one after three quarters and managed to knot things up at 52-52 late in the fourth quarter, but came up short in extra time in a Tri-County Conference loss in Streator.
Byron 38, Princeton 24
The two squads of Tigers waged a defensive battle with only 62 combined points in the contest.
Princeton was held to single digits in all four quarters, including just three points in the second quarter.
Cole Evenson and Zach Stroud led Princeton with seven points apiece.
Fieldcrest 51, Flanagan-Cornell 45
Brady Sanders scored a team-high 18 points and dished out a pair of assists Friday to help Fieldcrest to a victory over Flanagan-Cornell in a Heart of Illinois Conference game in Minonk.
Drew Barth added 12 points and four rebounds for the Knights, who trailed 13-10 after the first quarter but led 23-19 at halftime and 33-25 entering the fourth quarter.
Bureau Valley 62, Morrison 40
The Storm picked up a Three Rivers Athletic Conference win at home in Manlius.
Roanoke-Benson 63, DePue 42
Jesse Lopez scored 17 points Friday, but it wasn’t enough as the Little Giants fell in a Tri-County Conference game in DePue.
DePue trailed 13-12 after the first quarter but were outscored 33-18 over the next two quarters.
Paw Paw 72, LaMoille-Ohio 43
Brandon Morris had another big game for the Lions as he scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a losing effort.
L-O fell behind 31-2 after the first quarter of the Little Ten Conference game in Paw Paw.

Dan Pfaff scored a team-high 13 points Friday as the Panthers fell a point shy in a Little Ten Conference game in Kirkland.
