Oglesby man indicted soon after going on probation

Tom Collins
NewsTribune Senior Reporter

OTTAWA — An Oglesby man who was suspected of breaking into a home — eight days after he was placed on felony probation — was indicted Tuesday by a La Salle County grand jury.

Dylan M. Ceretto, 19, faces 4-15 years in prison if convicted of residential burglary, a Class 1 felony.

He is being held in La Salle County Jail on $100,000 bond, as barely a week had passed since he pleaded guilty to a separate burglary and dodged prison.

Ceretto will appear Friday for arraignment in La Salle County Circuit Court. He previously indicated he would seek a private attorney.
