Rain causes partial rescheduling of Relay for Life


The Relay for Life of Marshall and Putnam Counties was Saturday night, June 7 in Henry.

HENRY — Luminaria and closing ceremonies for the Marshall-Putnam Relay for Life, which was Saturday at Central Park in Henry, had to be postponed because of rain.

Those ceremonies have been rescheduled for Friday, June 13 at the park.

Luminarias can still be purchased 8-8:30 p.m. Friday. Closing ceremonies will begin at 8:30 p.m., followed by the luminaria ceremony at 9 p.m. Team totals and the overall event total will be announced at the closing ceremony. Contact Erika Anderson at (309) 364-2327 with any questions.
