Limb falls on school bus in Mendota; No injuries

MENDOTA — A limb fell from a city work truck and struck a school bus at approximately 7:37 a.m. today and broke a bus window. However, there were no children injured in the incident, according to Mendota police.

Officer Diane Kent said there were 24 children on the bus at the time the accident occurred, and all of the children had to be checked by a paramedic according to school protocol.

“Twenty-four kids were happy to be late for school this morning,” added officer Diane Kent.

The accident occurred in the 1200 block of Fourth Street.
