Drawdown dinner to benefit Friends of Strays

LAMOILLE — Friends of Strays will have its Drawdown and Silent Auction Saturday, April 13 at LaMoille Lions Club, 308 Howard St.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner including fried chicken, Italian beef, pasta, French fries, salad, bread and dessert served at 6 p.m. Coffee, iced tea and two kegs of beer are included.

More than $2,600 will be given away. Cash prizes, include the $1,500 grand prize. Winners need not be present to win. The drawdown starts at 7:30 p.m. Silent auction items are waiting for winning bids.

Only 200 tickets will be sold. They are $40 per couple and include dinner for two and a chance to win cash or prizes.

If all shelters would put chips in dogs and cats before they give them to just anyone, and I DO MEAN ANYONE there would be far fewer strays.
No one knows how much damage has been done by strays to people and wild life before they are caught.
I feel sorry for them but humans children and adults, come first..
