PRINCETON — Members of the Prairie Arts Council are invited to show their works of art during a month-long exhibition in March at Prairie Arts Center, 24 Park Ave. East, Princeton.

All works of art are welcome for the exhibit, including pottery, textiles, mixed media or any fine art crafts.

Artists are asked to bring up to five pieces of art. If bringing hanging art, pieces must be framed and ready to hang with wire.

An opening reception is planned for 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 1.

The exhibit will be on display through March 23, with open hours 10 a.m.-noon Wednesdays and 1-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Artists are asked to bring their art to the Art Center between 10 a.m. and noon Wednesday, Feb. 27 or call Deb Young at (815) 303-7444 to make other arrangements.

For families with young artists of school age, and holding a PAC family membership, a separate hanging space will be available to showcase the works of the budding artist.

The Prairie Arts Council offers annual single memberships for $15 and family memberships for $25. Anyone who wishes to participate in the exhibit may call Prairie Arts Center at (815) 875-2787 to arrange for a membership.
