Police Reports
Three men and one woman were charged with burglary to a motor vehicle Tuesday in Utica, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
Amey McDonnell, 22, of Joliet, Derrick Aquino, 22, of 461 North St., Marseilles, Jose Avila, 25, of 613 Fourth Ave., Ottawa and Anthony Brito Jr., 20, of 1441 Pickwick St., Ottawa were all charged with burglary to a motor vehicle after deputies stopped the vehicle at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday in Utica.
Deputies said the vehicle was reported stolen and descriptions of the four occupants were given shortly after the vehicle was taken.

Following an investigation, Gary L. Galiher, 54, of 405 E. First St., Apt. C, Spring Valley was charged at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday with domestic battery, according to Spring Valley police.

Austin R. Smith, 20, of 412 N. Columbia Ave., Oglesby was charged at 5:10 p.m. April 5 at Matthiessen State Park, Upper Dells, with possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, Illinois Conservation Police said Tuesday.

Christine V. Nesti, 23, of 817 Pike Place, Ottawa was charged with entering a restricted area and possession of alcohol on the trails at 8 p.m. April 9, on the back bluff of Illinois Canyon, Illinois Conservation Police said Tuesday. Also charged with entering a restricted area (climbing off trail) and possession of alcohol in a restricted area in the same incident were Krista J. Eddy, 25, of 3620 E. 1769th Road, Ottawa, and Ali Ibraimi, 24, of 317 Windsor Drive, Ottawa, police said.

Rudy G. Schlink, 37, of 1110 Pine St., Ottawa was charged at 2:45 p.m. April 4 at Illini State Park with expired registration, no valid driver’s license and no proof of insurance, according to Illinois Conservation Police.

Erika E. Whitfield, 25, of 1338 Dakota Drive, Ottawa was charged with no valid driver’s license Tuesday in the 1300 block of Dakota Drive, Ottawa police said.

Austin J. Pakula, 18, of 1119 N. Underhill St. Apt. 1, Peoria was picked up at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday at Sixth and Joliet streets on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant (driving without a license) and additionally charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to La Salle police.

Max G. Garciabucio, 24, of 3015 E. Third Road, La Salle was charged with no valid driver’s license and improper parking on the roadway at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday at Chartres Street and Raccuglia Drive, according to La Salle police.

DEPUE — Aldo Aragon-Barajas, 19, of 310 Martana St., DePue was charged with speeding and driving without a valid driver’s license at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday at Route 29 and Lincoln Avenue, according to DePue Police Department.
