Small-town theater all fired up for 'Hunger Games'

NT Staff

PRINCETON — As an added attraction for visitors of the much-anticipated premiere of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Apollo Theater owner Joachim "Jay" Schneider has planned a special attraction.

Artists from Pyrotechniq Fire Troupe will be catching fire — literally — for guests of the Apollo prior to the show at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.

These trained professionals channel the fiery element in ways you’ve only imagined.
They will perform in front of the theater in downtown Princeton.

The Apollo Theater is a privately owned, two-screen, first-run movie theater.
Built originally in 1883 it has been a landmark in Princeton ever since.

“Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is the second movie in the popular “Hunger Games” series. It is expected to be the box office leader on its opening weekend and weeks to come.

For additional information, please contact Jay Schneider at (815) 876-7808.
