Police Reports
Isauro Guzman, 31, of 5736 S. Spaulding St., Chicago was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and failure to signal at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday at O’Conor and Malcolm avenues, La Salle police said.

Brett Porter, 25, of New Lenox was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol Wednesday at Canal Road and Green Street, Ottawa police said.

Courtney E. Coan, 19, of 101 E. Erie St. Apt. 1, Spring Valley was charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage (one-way street) and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of West St. Paul Street, Spring Valley police said.

MENDOTA — Sigifredo Chaves-Ortega, 28, of 1209 Susanna St., Mendota was picked up on a Kendall County failure-to-appear warrant for a traffic offense at 12:43 p.m. Wednesday when he was at the Mendota police station on an unrelated matter, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Ahmad M. Ashour, 25, of 906 First St., Mendota turned himself in at the Mendota Police Department at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for a charge of driving while license suspended, according to Mendota police.

Douglas E. Harris, 64, of 1805 N. Carson St., Carson City, Nev. was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with at least 0.08 percent blood-alcohol and two counts of failure to signal at 12:45 a.m. Friday at Fourth and Pine streets, Peru, according to Peru police.

Richard L. Hayes, 38, of 213 Cedar St., Streator was charged with no insurance and no seatbelt at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday at Otter Creek and First streets, Streator police said.

Thomas J.N. Fowler, 23, of 1003 E. Otter Creek St., Streator was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and obstructing a peace officer at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday at Wasson and Main streets, Streator police said.
