Due to weather related issues, in some areas there may be delayed deliveries of your Monday issue of the NewsTribune.
If road conditions are severe enough, your delivery person may not be able to deliver your NewsTribune at all on Monday.
In this case, your Monday edition will be delivered with your Tuesday newspaper.
We ask you to be understanding for the safety of our carriers.
The paperwork needed to run for local school board seats in 2013 is available in the school district offices. The time to file petitions is Dec. 17-24.
* At La Salle-Peru Township High School, four school board seats are up for election this year. Those positions currently are held by Jim Quesse, Rick Sipovic, Al Cherpeske and Rose Marie Lynch. All of the incumbents have already picked up petition paperwork, as has potential candidate Dennis O’Keefe of La Salle, according to school board secretary Diane Lampe.
* The La Salle Elementary School Board has three four-year seats up for election, currently held by Colby Sawin, Frank Senica and Gerald Savage. There also is a two-year term up for election, currently held by Susan Reeland.
All four incumbents have picked up petition paperwork. Additionally, Kelly Rolando, Joy Plackett, Julie Ator and Jessica Franklin have picked up petitions, according to board secretary Cindy Gedraitis.
