Another house came down in La Salle on Wednesday.

A crew from Glynn’s Demolition and Excavating of Hennepin demolished the home at 517 Bucklin St., the latest in a series of rundown homes the city has demolished.

Building inspector Brian Maddox explained the home on Bucklin Street was demolished via a court order.

The city currently is working toward receiving court permission to tear down a sixth home, he said.

La Sallecity leaders have been facing the problem of eyesore properties for a few years, but growing public outcry this fall coincided with a surge in demolition activity.
