Police Reports
Richard L. Huls, 24, of 3917 E 758th Road, Triumph was charged at 12:49 a.m. Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol over .08 blood alcohol content, disobeying a stop sign, improper lane usage, failure to wear a seat belt and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Fifth Street, said La Salle police.

Megan Schmidt, 28, of 1207 Tonti St., La Salle was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams), operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving without lights and improper lane usage at 1:21 a.m. Saturday at Second and Crosat streets, La Salle police said.

Joris R. Duda, 36, of 918 Sixth St., Apt. 1, La Salle and Cedric C. Davis, 39, of 918 Sixth St., Apt. 4, La Salle were charged with city ordinance violations for open container after police observed them walking with open bottles of beer at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Ninth Street, La Salle police said.

Katie L. Gallacher, 21, of 315 W. Erie St., Spring Valley and Mark S. Hirschman, 22, of 107 Clinton St., Arlington were charged with city ordinance violations for open container after police observed them walking with open cans of beer at 12:32 a.m. Sunday at Third and Wright streets, La Salle police said.

Desiree M. Roche, 19, of 905½ Illinois Ave., Mendota was charged with a city ordinance violation for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Fifth and Walnut streets in Peru, La Salle police said.

Frank N. Savery, 36, of 126 Walter Ave., McNabb was charged with driving while license suspended and disobeyed stop sign at 2:49 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Wright Street, La Salle police said.

Victor Morales, 34, of 1051 Tollview Ave., Aurora was charged with driving while suspended at 9:05 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 39 at the Oglesby exit, Oglesby police said.
Anna Markowska, 67, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his vehicle struck from behind a vehicle driven by Scott Golden of Princeton at 2:07 p.m. Friday on Interstate 80 at the Route 251 interchange, state police said. There were no injuries.

Blake A. Couch, 23, of 231 E. St. Paul St., Apt. 2, Spring Valley was picked up at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on a Putnam County warrant for an original charge of residential burglary, said Spring Valley police.

Richard J. Klemz, 42, of Darien was charged with speeding and driving with no valid driver’s license after deputies made a traffic stop at 2:47 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 52 near East 7th Road near Troy Grove, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle driven by Cortney S. Clements of Marseilles struck a deer at 5:45 a.m. Saturday near 2317 North 2653rd Road near Marseilles, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
MENDOTA — Emmanuel Then Figueroa, 23, of Bensenville was charged with driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis at 9:26 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop in the 700 block of 13th Avenue, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Adam K. Kennedy, 28, of 1104 Fourth St., Mendota was charged with domestic battery at 2:12 a.m. Sunday after officers were called to that address for a domestic disturbance, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Donna E. Temple, 46, of 711 13th Ave., Mendota was picked up on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for a charge of driving under the influence at 2:11 p.m. Sunday while in the 900 block of Washington Street, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Andrew E. Verbera, 18, of North 46th Road, Earlville was charged with no taillights, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:07 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop at Monroe Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, according to Mendota police.
 DEPUE — Clayton Sissell, 24, of 207 E. Peru Ave, Hollowayville was charged with no rear registration light, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia at Marquette Street and Douglass Street, according to DePue Police Department.

PRINCETON — Evan K. Hopson, 28, of Ohio, Ill., was charged with retail theft at 3:55 p.m. Friday at Wal-Mart, according to Princeton Police Department.

DEKALB — Fourteen people were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol including Riley R. Ryburn, 19, of 6083 Clapsaddle Road, Earlville at 11:26 p.m. Saturday after DeKalb County deputies were called to 14079 Waterman Road, rural DeKalb for reports of cars parked on the roadway, loud music and minors walking down the road with open alcohol. Also charged were Courtney A. Moore, 19, of Clare, Ill.; Logan J. Quest, 19, of Rochelle; Julian Sosa, 19, of Batavia; Joseph J. Miller, 20, of Waterman; Bret D. Ostrom, 20, of Shabbona; Danielle K. Guddendorf, 19 of Yorkville; Anne Marie Giese, 19, of Maple Park; Kaylie R. Hanson, 19, of Montgomery; Anna Patricia King, 19, of Sugar Grove; Kyle A. Lieving, 20, of Waterman, Katrina L. Picurro, 18, of Genoa; Brandy L. Fik, 20, of Waterman; and a 17-year-old male of Sycamore. The sheriff’s department is investigating the possible source of the alcohol.

Christopher Gene Morales, 32, of 104 10th St., Peru was charged with violation of an order of protection and speeding at 12:31 a.m. Sunday, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Darcey A. Bevans, 32, of 212 Wilson St., Paw Paw was picked up on a Lee County failure-to-appear warrant for contempt at 1:23 p.m. Friday, according to Lee County Sheriff’s office.

Nathan Jerome Marshall, 19, of 100 S. Front St., Sublette was charged with delivery of a look-a-like substance within 1,000 feet of a school, criminal drug conspiracy and delivery of a look-a-like substance at 11:10 p.m. Aug. 5, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Department.
