Police Reports
Two drivers were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle accident around 4 a.m. Saturday on Route 89 in Magnolia Township, according to Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
A vehicle driven Benjamin D. Fogle, 24, of McNabb struck a vehicle driven by Gueury N. Bautista, 30, of Wenona, the sheriff’s office said.
Fogle additionally was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and Bautista additionally was charged with driving while license revoked and driving under the influence with .08 or greater blood-alcohol content, the sheriff’s office said.

Elizabeth M. Penrod, 36, of 112 Cedar St., Cedar Point was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and driving with at least 0.08 percent blood-alcohol at 2:05 a.m. Sunday on Route 71 near Hennepin, according to Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
Bruce A. Filbrandt, 77, of 11357 Woody Walker Hill, McNabb was charged with disorderly conduct at 3:15 p.m. Friday at 11291 Woody Walker Hill, McNabb, according to Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

MENDOTA — Matthew D. Campbell, 38, of 207 E. Sixth St., Mendota turned himself in Friday on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of domestic battery that was first reported on July 12, according to Mendota police.

Sarah K. Wortman, 31, of Sheridan was picked up on a warrant at 10:15 p.m. Monday at her residence on a warrant for driving while license suspended, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

DEPUE — Ruben Madrigal, 20, of 237 E. Third St., DePue was charged with improper lane usage and driving too fast for conditions after a one-vehicle accident at 7:31 p.m. July 14 at 2790 East Street, ½ mile west of Princeton Street. Madrigal was transported to St. Margaret’s Hospital, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

TISKILWA — James T. Dant, 24, of 1024 N. Maple Apt. D, Princeton was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a 1-vehicle accident at 11:42 p.m. July 5 at 1900 East Street, ½ mile north of 800 North Avenue. Dant was transported to Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

LAMOILLE — Daniel J. Hodge, 27, of 105 Dayton St., LaMoille was charged with disorderly conduct at 6 p.m. Friday at 2600 North Avenue, ½ mile east of 2840 East Street, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

SHEFFIELD — William C. McElhinney Jr., 25, of 503 East Mill Road, Sheffield was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:24 a.m. Sunday at Red’s Bar and Grill, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
