LEOTA — Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Leota (Jacqueline Gatchel) of Spring Valley, girl, July 11, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
LEFFELMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Leffelman (Megan Walker) of LaMoille, girl, July 11, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.
HUNT — Tyler Hunt and Ashley Vickrey of Mendota, boy, July 12, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.

Police Reports
Tony E. Murillo, 35, of 324 Third St., Apt 2, La Salle, was charged at 1:11 a.m. Saturday with violating a city ordinance (disturbing the peace), intoxicated pedestrian), intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway and improper walking in the roadway after police found him stumbling in the middle of the roadway screaming at passing cars.  At 1:33 a.m., Murillo was charged again with disturbing the peace after he was found throwing objects and standing in the road at Third and Bucklin streets, said La Salle police. 

Katelynn E. Doran, 20, of 2705 St. Vincent’s Ave., Lot 27, La Salle was charged at 11:27 p.m. Friday with criminal trespassing to state-supported land at 1020 and 1040 Second Street in La Salle, said La Salle police.

David P. Waters, 46, of 2723 Fourth St., Peru was charged at 1:51 a.m. Saturday with driving while license suspended, following a traffic stop at Fourth and Herbert streets, according to Peru police. 

Shane E. Goskusky, 36, of 408 E. Florence St., Oglesby was charged with driving while suspended at 11:42 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South Lewis Avenue, Oglesby police said.

Scott A. Lokey, 50, of 1120 Hinckley St., Aurora was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a single-vehicle accident at 1:55 a.m. Sunday on East 2575th Road near North 2899th Road near Marseilles, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

Christopher R. Fields, 35, of Chicago was charged with driving while suspended and improper turn at 10:09 p.m. Sunday on Route 71 at County Highway 3 near Norway, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

A vehicle driven by Brian J. Bernardi of 2511 Rosemary Way, Aurora struck a deer at 10:50 p.m. Saturday on Route 71 near East 25th Road in Miller Township, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

Kenneth R. Mavis, 63, of 906 Canal St., Ottawa was picked up Saturday in the 1100 block of East Norris Drive on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear (fishing without a license), Ottawa police said.

Kent A. Bernardoni, 23, of 1025 10th St., La Salle was charged with allowing his dog to run at large without a leash (city ordinance violation) at 7:23 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of 10th Street, La Salle police said.

MENDOTA — Stephanie A. Jaco, 23, of Earlville was charged with violation of city ordinance for disorderly conduct and possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams at 1:32 a.m. Sunday after officers responded to a business in the 700 block of Jefferson Street, according to Mendota police.

MENDOTA — Arthur M. Unger, 49, of 100 S. Ninth Ave., Mendota was charged with city ordinance violation for disturbing the peace at 11:27 p.m. Saturday after officers responded to a call of domestic trouble, according to Mendota police.
