It was reported in Tuesday’s edition of the NewsTribune that Evan Hultine was representing the Bureau County Farm Bureau at Monday’s Princeton City Council meeting when speaking in favor of the Princeton Farmers Market.
He was not representing Bureau County Farm Bureau, but rather speaking as a concerned citizen who is involved in the agricultural industry.
Shane E. Goskusky, 36, of 408 E. Florence St., Oglesby was charged with driving with a suspended license at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 5200 block of Route 251, Peru, according to Peru police.
Richard Venegas Jr., 26, of 1317 Creve Coeur, La Salle was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for probation violation at 7:24 p.m. Wednesday, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
Shane Putnam, 20, of 1023 Canal St., Ottawa was picked up on a La Salle County warrant for driving under the influence of drugs at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
Donovan Weston, 19, homeless was picked up Wednesday in the parking lot of the IVCC-Ottawa Campus on La Salle County warrants for failure to appear (no license, trespassing and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia), Ottawa police said.
WYANET — A vehicle driven by Roy L. Alm of 205 Sheridan St., Buda struck a deer at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday on 1400 N. Ave. about ¼ mile west of 1550 E. St., according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
