McKINNEY — Mr. and Mrs. Brent McKinney (Kim Murray) of Streator, girl, Jan. 7, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru.

Police Reports
Kristina J. Martin, 30, of 400 Mason St., DePue was charged with retail theft at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday at Wal-Mart, Peru, according to Peru police.

Kim M. Billard, 53, of 2208 State St., Peru was charged with driving with a suspended license and no insurance at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday at Fifth and Walnut streets, according to Peru police.

Mark Kopczick, 25, of Morris was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on North 21st Road west of East 19th Road near Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Kopczick’s auto struck a snow bank, lost control, and struck a vehicle driven by Chad Rowe, 31, of Ottawa.

Katelin A. Stygar, 24, of Dimond was taken to OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa for injuries she sustained in a multiple-vehicle accident at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday on North 21st Road near the intersection of East 22nd Road near Ottawa, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Stygar lost control of her vehicle on icy pavement and struck a vehicle driven by Patrick L. Clift, 63, of Streator. Clift’s vehicle was then pushed into a vehicle driven by David W. Cook, 54, of Streator. No citations were issued.

Robert J. Trump, 43, of 1690 Crosat St., La Salle was picked up at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday at his address on two La Salle County warrants, both for failure to appear on charges of driving while license suspended, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
Jessica J. Peterson, 36, of 618 Princeton St., DePue was charged with public intoxication at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at 410 E. Second St., Oglesby police said.

PRINCETON — A vehicle driven by Gary L. Brooks, 73, of Walnut struck a deer at 10 a.m. Monday on Route 26, according to Princeton Police Department.

DEPUE — Jermaine A. Bray, 31, of 113 Hennepin St., Ladd was charged with failure to signal when required, no valid driver’s license (expired 5/9/2003), and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East and LaBee, according to DePue Police Department.

PRINCETON — A vehicle driven by Charles R. Hansen of 1122 W. Putnam St., Princeton struck a deer at 6 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 6 about a mile east of 2500 East St., according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
