SHINNICK — Mr. and Mrs. Matt Shinnick of Ottawa, boy, Nov. 26, Morris Hospital.

Lilliana Paige Bickett, daughter of Anthony Bickett and Allison Fusinatto, was baptized Dec. 8, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Peru, by the Rev. Ronald Margherio, O.S.B. Sponsors were Casey Swingel and Alyssa Fusinatto.

Police Reports
Jesse E. Wright, 23, of 211 N. St. Paul St., Mark reported a hit-and-run accident after his vehicle was struck by a semi tractor-trailer at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday at  West Dakota and Spalding streets, Spring Valley police said. Wright said he was eastbound on West Dakota Street and waiting to turn right. As he went to turn right the semi in the lane next to him, which is not a turn lane also began to turn right, said Wright. Wright said he stopped and the semi struck the front driver’s side fender and door of his vehicle and continued driving. Wright did not have a license plate number, but said it was a white semi.

Edward M. Stachowiak, 44, of 315 W. Dakota St., Spring Valley reported a hit-and-run accident at 12:45 a.m. Thursday on West Dakota Street between Taylor and Terry Streets, Spring Valley police said. Stachowiak said he discovered as he left to go to work that his vehicle that was legally parked outside his residence had been side­swiped.

Amy N. Lannen, 32, of 2629 Market St., Peru was picked up at 5:44 p.m. Thursday at home on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of domestic battery and a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of theft, according to Peru police.

Jonathan W. Dowell, 47, of 420 N. Second St., Muscoda, Wis., was picked up following a traffic stop at 10:50 a.m. Thursday at West Walnut Street and Lewis Avenue on five Vermilion County warrants for failure to appear, Oglesby police said.

Daniel Harrell, 45, of 1012 First St., La Salle was charged with suspended registration, failure to signal and no insurance at 1:28 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of May Road, La Salle police said.

Nicholas R. Milby, 24, of 47 Roth St., Marseilles was charged with felony retail theft and Ashley J. Coan, 23, of Tou-Rest Motel, Peru was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after Peru plainclothes detectives responded at 3:18 p.m. Thursday to a retail theft in progress at Wal-Mart, Peru, according to Peru police.

LAMOILLE — David A. Wolever, 20, of 96 Franklin St., LaMoille was charged with criminal sexual abuse at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at 108 E. Dayton St., LaMoille, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
