Twins Karson John Raymond and Madison Brianne Actis, son and daughter of Melissa and Jeremy Actis of Magnolia, were baptized by the Rev. Police Reports
Christopher G. Morales, 31, of 104 10th St., Peru was picked up at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of LaFayette Street on a La Salle County warrant (contempt of court), according to La Salle police.

Catherine A. Christensen, 47, of 2959 Mauro Road, La Salle was charged with driving while license suspended at 8 a.m. Wednesday at 343 N. 30th Road, according to La Salle police.

Jason G. Vourlos, 29, of 146 Gooding St., La Salle was charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and wrong way in a one-way at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday at Route 351 at the Illinois and Michigan Canal bridge, according to La Salle police.

Teagan M. Cain, 19, of 1114 Henry St., Peru was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday on Slough Road west of Route 251, Peru, according to Peru police.

Eric L. Laws, 41, of 36 Buck St., La Salle was charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to signal turn at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday at May Road and Route 251, Peru, according to Peru police.

Roy J. Konczak, 45, of 1804 Third St., Peru was charged with battery at 1 p.m. Tuesday at his home, according to Peru police.
Blanqui N. Madrigal, 41, of 134 E. Third St., DePue was treated at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru and released after the sport-utility vehicle she was riding in, driven by Ernesto A. Sandoval, 51, of 114 Martanna St., DePue collided with a car driven by Lyneatte Jo Elmore of 1093 Creve Coeur St., La Salle at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Route 251 and 36th Street, Peru, according to Peru police. Sandoval was cited with disobeying a traffic control device, according to the report.

A 15-year-old male was charged with truancy at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday after several unexcused absences from Hall High School, Spring Valley police said.

Laurie J. Stiles, 51, of 510 Powell St., Streator was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) and unlawful possession of a controlled substance (heroin) with intent to deliver Monday at an unspecified location, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (TRI-DENT) said in a press release issued Wednesday.
Stiles was charged after police seized 0.6 gram of purported heroin, TRI-DENT said. The charges are Class 2 felonies carrying 3-7 years in prison.
PROVIDENCE — A vehicle driven by Max J. Bierman of 36 Westwood Ct., St. Louis, Mo., struck a deer at 6:40 a.m. Monday on 700 N. Ave. about ½ mile east of 1475 E. Street, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

MINERAL — A vehicle driven by Judith A. Crosby of 20979 150 E. St., Mineral struck a deer at 6:53 p.m. Monday on 150 E. St. about ½ mile south of 2100 N. Avenue, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Depart-ment.

DEPUE — Travis Ford, 29, of 609 Willow St., DePue was charged with domestic battery at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Martana Street, DePue, according to DePue Police Department.

SHEFFIELD — A vehicle driven by Joshua J. Holder of 1212 Minkel St., Rock Falls struck a deer at 5:50 p.m. Sunday on Route 40 about ¼ mile north of 1500 N. Ave., according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.

WYANET — Kristopher A. Koch, 30, of 414 S. King St., Wyanet was charged with violation of an order of protection at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department.
